Through our partnership with the National Association of Evangelicals and the Free Methodist Foundation, we are able to generously offer our pastoral leaders the following grant-funded Financial Health resources.

Pastors May be Eligible to Receive up to $2,000 in Cash Honorariums

Our denomination has been blessed with honorariums to give to pastors that meet the following criteria:

  • I am a fully credentialed Elder of the Free Methodist Church – USA.
  • I am on staff at and paid by a local Free Methodist Church (part- or full-time).
  • I am committed to completing the one-session Bless Your Finances Course (PF1) and/or the Church Generosity Legacy Bequests Course (CG1).
  • I agree to have a session with a FM Financial Advisor.

To get started, complete an online application, here. Then, after receiving approval from the FMC office, create an account and preview or begin the courses, here.

We will accept applications as long as funds are available!

Upon approval from our COO’s office, pastors can complete the one-session Bless Your Finances course to earn $1000. Lead pastors can also complete the Church Generosity Legacy Bequests Course (CG1) to receive $1000. Here are the two tracks to choose from. If you are a lead pastor, you qualify for both:

Track 1, for $1,000:

  • I am a fully credentialed Elder of the Free Methodist Church – USA.
  • I am on staff at and paid by a local Free Methodist Church (part- or full-time).
  • I am committed to completing the one-session Bless Your Finances Course (PF1).
  • I agree to have a session with a FM Financial Advisor.

Track 2, for $1,000:

  • I am a fully credentialed Elder of the Free Methodist Church – USA.
  • I am the lead pastor at and paid by a local Free Methodist Church (part- or full-time).
  • I am committed to completing the Church Generosity Legacy Bequests Course (CG1) with my local BOA.
  • I agree to have a session with a FM Financial Advisor.

Personal Finances - For Individuals and Couples

This course will provide an assessment survey, videos and Best Practices resources for individuals and couples of any age or income to improve their financial health. This course contains all of the information in the one-session Bless Your Finances course above.

Church Generosity - For Pastors and Leaders

Transformational Generosity for Churches - One-Session (CG4)

Transformational Generosity for Christians - One-Session (CG5)

Best Church Generosity Practices - One-Session (CG6)

Church Generosity - Six-Sessions (CG8)

The online training for church generosity is designed for pastors and church leaders and can be incorporated into regularly scheduled monthly meetings. This course contains all of information from the one-session Church Generosity courses above.
